We will know soon what happens in first world healthcare when the systems cannot handle the load. Because this disease is not about the level of severity, it is about the sheer numbers of critical cases (15-20%)
There is something that has been overlooked by everyone regarding the spread of the virus in Asia, even by me, after many trips there and having had two Chinese wives in my life.
Asians dont cover their mouths when they sneeze or cough. Those who have been in the US do, as they are told that is polite here. In China, no one covers their mouth.
Meals are eaten family style, with dishes being shared using the same chopsticks, and polite people will turn their chopsticks around to use the back end to serve themselves food from communal dishes. (Except their hands touched them.)
Lets just say that germophobes are like unicorns in Asia.
