That means weakened immune systems and low resistance.

It will be a human disaster.

looks to me like california has gotten serious about monitoring the thousands still flying in from china and other parts of asia ... friend in san fran said 500/day were flying in from china ... the ones from the PRC are U.S. citizens (not chinese), but the coronavirus makes no distinction about nationality ...

"but the coronavirus makes no distinction about nationality ..."

Or race, or politics, or what clothes you wear, or economic status, or a multitude of other things.
It's why we should not be playing around with (imho) biowarfare. And yes, I think the PRC was doing just that and now their Frankenstein got loose.

My real ire is for the people playing politics with this. They should be subjected to the Rainbow Six resolution.

Trump STOPPED thousands of Chinese from coming to the United States a month ago... He’ll be one of the heroes in this mess.

The Trump administration on Friday announced measures designed to protect Americans from the coronavirus, including blocking foreign nationals who have been in China in the past 14 days from entering the United States.

Officials also said that Americans who have been in China’s Hubei province within 14 days will be subject to a mandatory quarantine period. Americans returning from other parts of China will face enhanced screening and a self-quarantine of up to 14 days.

Wayne07,

Those articles are from a month ago.

What changed in the media coverage between then and now?

And why?

Yep, their people are more at risk for typhoid and e-coli poisoning. Newsom is a clown like the rest of them, total amateur.

Reality caught up.

Media was beating Trump for overreacting and being racist for shutting down China flights. Now they are beating up Trump for under reacting. They are going to attack Trump no matter what.

You can't make policy based on doing the opposite of what the media wants. You make policy on the safety of the people. Enough people know the media is full of crap and ignore it. But they won't ignore people dying, schools being closed, flights cancelled. Those will be realities.
