RE: Yeah, you are concerned as usual. Its pretty pathetic.
Yes, because of Demographic changes in the American population PLUS the fraud factor. I believe it is quite reasonable to be concerned.
Have you forgotten what happened in 2018? a 40 member turnover in Congress to Democrats plus an idiot like Beto O ‘Rourke nearly taking over Ted Cruz’s Senate seat.
Also, Pennsylvania is not exactly a red state. It is more of a bluish state.
So being “concerned” is not pathetic. It’s being NOT OVERCONFIDENT and REALISTIC.
You sure about that? The lieutenant governor is a Bernie Bro singularly focused on legalizing pot, George Soros bought the Philadelphia DA spot, Democrats won seats throughout the state in part because of redistricting but moreso because the left wing was ready to play in the state.
Left wing values may not play well to a majority of Pennsylvania residents, but at least they play. The republican party is terrible at turning a demographic and ideological advantage (if there is one) into victories at the polls.
Pennsylvania should have two republican senators, but the party didn't care to support Lou Barletta. Bob Casey was originally elected in a ghost campaign that relied on elderly voters thinking they were voting for his dad... and Rick Santorum couldn't win or even point that out. The state should have a republican governor, but Corbett barely tried to run a campaign and the party didn't want to support Scott Wagner. The republican party didn't fight redistricting, doesn't bother competing in Philly, only seems to support chamber of commerce candidates, doesn't fight against the rampant corruption in the state legislature, on and on. It's only due to the enthusiasm of individual voters and local community groups that any republicans are elected in the state at all. Sorry for the rant.
Comparing a Presidents first midterm with the following election is ludicrous. Remember 2010? It was followed by Bammys win in 2012.
You are also ignoring the terrible night that the Rats had in 2018 on the Senate side.
I am sick and tired of the doom and gloomer crowd who are still upset that their magic underpants sanctimonious Captain asshat isnt calling the shots.
One of my kids aided that R registration bump!!!
“..Sorry for the rant. ...”
Not a rant at all; It’s a stone-cold accurate assessment. PA GOP needs to grow a pair and fight back. Trump showed the way.
What I’m saying is this -— this isn’t time to be overconfident.
You have faith in enough of the good sense of the American People. I do not have such STRENGTH of faith. The voters are mostly swayed by many other not substantial factors and a small turn in the economy could change a voter’s mind.
Plus, you are forgetting one reason why 2018 turned out badly for Republicans in congress — Election Fraud.
This time, the Democrats know which states to focus on and yes, Pennsylvania is one of them. Michigan and Wisconsin are the other two.
suddenly orange is looking much more appealing than red ...

Thanks for the link!
Read the methodology.
SNORT.
We drove through central PA recently.
We saw Trump stuff everywhere.
We didn’t see one stinking, solitary ‘Rat sign, bumpers sticker, flag.
Nuttin.
Screw the PA GOP. Trump is doing just fine without them.
Only Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders maintained a slight lead over the president in hypothetical matchups. But even there, Trump gained ground. Biden and Warren were tied with Trump, while South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg all were slightly behind the president. The gaps in those matchups all were within the polls margin of error of 5.5 percentage points.
