“I’m Sorry, What?” Bloomberg Adviser Hints At Mother Of All Oppo-Research Drops On Bernie
Hot Air ^ | 2/25/2020 | Ed Morrissey

Just how committed is Michael Bloomberg to winning the Democratic primary? Enough to have his adviser Tim O’Brien drop this bombshell on a stunned Alisyn Camerota this morning on CNN’s New Day. Just as Camerota made an argument that Democrats might not want to go full tilt against Bernie Sanders if he’s likely to end up the nominee against Donald Trump, O’Brien promised that Team Bloomberg would hammer Sanders with everything they have.

And it’s remarkable how much information a news-media mogul can find, isn’t it? Such as advice for parents of toddlers to allow them to run naked and explore each others’ genitalia, for instance, O’Brien offers. “I’m sorry — what?” exclaims Camerota:

Video on Twitter -

JUST NOW: @MikeBloomberg Senior Adviser @TimOBrien goes there on @BernieSanders.

Orgasms. Rape fantasies. Children running naked. All there.@NewDaypic.twitter.com/EUckLVYNR0— John Berman (@JohnBerman) February 25, 2020

CAMEROTA: Look, I hear you but, I mean, it’s still a Democratic primary. You’re still — if you’re trying to avoid the circular firing squad, this is still the circular firing squad if you’re going after another Democrat.

O’BRIEN: But we’ve got a candidate who’s got a better record. We’ve got a candidate who has more governing experience than anybody on that stage. We’ve got a candidate who has risen in the polls because of his track record. Bernie has all of this loopy stuff in his background, saying things like women get cancer from having too many orgasms or toddlers should run around naked and touch each other’s genitals to insulate —

CAMEROTA: I’m sorry, what?

O’BRIEN: — themselves from porn.

CAMEROTA: What?

This is how you get the Bernie Bros to check out of the Democrat Party vote this November.

Good job, Mini Mike!

Hopefully Mike goes third-party against a Sanders/Warren ticket.

Mike says “I have trained all my life for this job.”

He will never become President, but history will record him as Michael Doomberg, the man who destroyed the Democratic Party.

Scott Adams pointed out in his daily Periscope today that Pete Buttigieg is "the poor man's Mike Bloomberg".

Mayor of South Bend - while Mini Mike was the mayor of New York, for three successful terms.

Bloomberg’s path to the nomination involves coming in at #2 or #3, getting past the first ballot and then buying everyone else’s delegates out. So his strategy is to be as inoffensive as possible to his rivals, with a single exception. That exception is Sanders, whom he can and must burn to the ground, in order to hold Sanders’s delegate count down, and make his own path to a majority easier.

The best shot for Bloomberg’s path to the nomination consists of him getting the #2 spot, delegate-wise, after Sanders, buying off all the Dem also-rans, and prevailing on the second ballot. If he doesn’t get the #2 slot, things become a lot harder, because whomever is #2 is going to think of himself not merely as a kingmaker but a potential nominee, and therefore less likely to give up his delegates to Bloomberg.

https://ballotpedia.org/Democratic_delegate_rules,_2020
[The 2020 Democratic presidential nominee will be selected by delegates to the Democratic National Convention, which will be held July 13-16, 2020, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The national nominating convention is the formal ceremony during which the party officially selects its nominee. The delegates are individuals chosen to represent their state, territory, or Democrats Abroad at the convention.

In 2020, there will be 4,750 delegates: 3,979 pledged delegates and 771 automatic delegates—more commonly known as superdelegates.[1]

To win the Democratic nomination, a presidential candidate must receive support from a majority of the pledged delegates on the first ballot: 1,991 pledged delegates.[2][3] If the convention is contested and goes to a second ballot or more, automatic delegates will be able to vote and a candidate must receive majority support from all delegates: more than 2,375 votes.[4] Roughly two-thirds of the delegates will have been allocated by the end of March 2020. ]

The other flaw in Bloomberg’s logic is that Bernie only needs 50% of the delegates—so he can combine forces with another candidate to get to that number before the convention.

If he offers Warren the VP slot and gets her delegates that is game, set, match.

Hopefully Bloomberg becomes Doomberg, goes third party, and destroys the Democrats.

I imagine there is TONS. Bernie has been avowed Socialist with 70 years worth of far left writings and other sketchy activity. I’m guessing Hillary had a lot of opposition research as well, but never needed to drop it on Bernie because she had the game rigged from the start.

Yep. If Bernie gets screwed at the Democrat convention, 1968 will seem like a Girl Scout picnic.

Would “sore loser” laws keep Bloomie off the ballot as an independent after he was a primary Democrat?

MiniMike is doing some of Trump’s work for him - along with the rest of the Dem candidates....Bernie is a symptom of how out of control the Dems have become and their own methodology of using the “chaos effect” is biting them....bigly as the chaos they have invoked is spreading through their ranks faster than the coronovirus in Wuhan...

Maybe so. But what they did to Trump, they are doing to their own. How funny. How pathetic.

One advantage cinservatives have is that Bloomberg is so ild (and visibly frail now) is that he will not be credible as a candidate in 2024. Binden, Sanders, Hillary as well.
This year is her last shot.

Maybe Mini-Mike is a sleeper cell Republican who will destroy the democrats from within — it was all a very elaborate plan conceived in smoke filled rooms in alien space craft at Area 51.
