He sees this panic rightfully as killing the stock market the last few days. That needs to end. Don’t know how in the world that will get back to the “normal” trading we have been seeing the last few years. The market had been going gang busters . It was his bragging right.

I pull my investments out of the market before the DOW drop because the factories in China were shut down for extended amount of time. Those shut downs cut into US companies profits and dividends.

If US companies want people to invest in their stock they need to diversified their risk by having factories in multiply countries.

I will now find companies that do not rely on China for cheap labor to make profit. Has nothing to do with the virus, it is all about profit.

It was always risky to stake so much on the stock market, which goes down as well as up, of course.

Everyone knows however that he’s been great for the economy. As long as he is seen as being great in dealing with the coronavirus, he’ll be fine.

Also, the Fed has had a hand in puffing up the market which is frothy at this point. We’re back up to record valuations, so it is bound to come down. It is probably less damaging to Trump if it floats down some with the coronavirus news.
