As the reality begins to set in that Bernie Sanders is likely to be the Democratic nominee, some loyal progressives are coming around on the Vermont Senator.
It is interesting to watch the grand reconciliation and we are largely in the “baby steps” phase of the conversion but it is nevertheless noticeable.
Paul Krugman, Nobel laureate and opinion writer for The New York Times worked through the new reality in real time, tweeting after Sanders’ win in the Nevada Caucuses: “Well, Bernie Sanders is now the clear favorite for the Democratic nomination. Lots of things to say about that, but the most important is that he is NOT a left-leaning version of Trump. Even if you disagree with his ideas, he’s not a wannabe authoritarian ruler.”

Sanders has spent his entire adult life preaching the benefits of socialism. To describe Bernie Sanders as a Marxist, communist or socialist is far more accurate than the dark descriptors employed to sum up Donald Trump.
In the past 100 years, it is estimated that communist states killed as many as 100 million people. It began, practically with the Bolshevik Revolution and the dark rise of the Soviet Union.
Central planners rely on conformity at any cost and that historically looks a lot worse than any Donald Trump tweet imaginable.
The media has been moving the overton window of political acceptance farther left much more intensely than they had before Trump got into office. Why? Because took various various groups that used to be considered centrist (such as rust belt democrats) and the already left leaning media had no choice but to attempt to villify Trump and his positions because, well, that’s just what they do. So they’ve made some inroads but they’ve accepted a smaller faction as a result. Their only hope was to make Trump look evil by impeaching him, which failed.
IF Sanders wins the nomination, you will see systematic bold faced lying on epic levels, and make the old propaganda seems like kids play, all in order to white wash his positions and his past.
The Ministry of Propaganda will back whoever is the Democrat nominee, even an unrepentant socialist who admires Castro, Chavez, etc.

Bernie should tell Kruggie to stay away , Kruggie might be the one guy who could really hurt Bernie.
That interview was painful. “Denmark is socialist but they don’t go around saying socialist ... Bernie needs to stop saying socialist.” And then repeated socialist five more times.
That’s already started. But whitewash is a two-parter. The MSM can whitewash , but that requires Bernie to play along.
And that would mean, he would have to say he has “grown out of” or “expanded his thinking” over time on those views.

He went to great efforts to praise Kastro after Pooper desperately tried to steer him away. Pooper was as vexed with Bernie as he was with Bragovitch, he just played poker face for 60 Mandarins. Bernie then doubled down on Pooper by releasing his “Taxman” cover song the very next day and his surrogates made damn sure everyone saw it!
What we need to do NOW, immediately, is make sure the GOP has a viable , name-brand candidate in House districts we now might be able to flip , not just the Trump districts but the purple ones like KY-3.

That’s big.
But not just flipping purple districts, but protecting them too. Every house seat not saved is as bad as two that were not switched.
All Democrats are authoritarian communists. They want complete power over our lives.
