Realize most of our elites are anti population.
They despise humanity.
They wail and moan about ‘climate crisis’ and ‘carbon footprint’. Of the rest of us mind you...our air conditioners will destroy the planet but their 20Ksqft homes and private jets are somehow exempt.
That segment of society has been absolutely LONGING for a pandemic for over a generation now.
Those are the people in charge of these decisions...

That’s a great point.
Even those who aren’t political or social elites and who don’t actively or consciously think culling of humanity is a good thing, you probably still have a lot of upper-crust in society who have a subconscious schadenfreude and probably feel that their money will protect them and don’t care if some of the dirty masses suffer.
I’m not going to lie, when I’ve been shopping or traveling in the big cities or stuck in traffic on 6 lanes of humanity, I can’t help wondering if there aren’t too many people everywhere. But I can’t bring myself to think about the effects of some of these diseases and the suffering and wish it on people. They suddenly become real individuals to me and not some sea of faceless numbers taking up space. Corona may not be as horrible as Ebola, but that’s still got to be a tough way to go... and it’s all so much more preventable if steps are taking to restrict travel and vet who is traveling.
