That’s when I remember the “Carbon Dioxide causes global warming” idea beginning. For those not old enough to remember, Venus used to be considered earth’s warmer twin. Clouds kept us from seeing the surface, so who knew what Venus was like. Since it is closer to the sun, it was thought to be warmer—maybe tropical. Then the first space probes sent back the truth—hellishly hot 850º F and the CO2 was at 95%.

Well, there you have it. CO2 turned earth like Venus into Hell. It might do the same to earth. CO2 in earth’s atmosphere isn’t measured in % but rather parts per million—412 parts per million.
