Biden Defends Superdelegates as He Argues for Brokered Convention

Former Vice President Joe Biden defended the nearly 800 unelected superdelegates that will vote in extra rounds of voting that could be triggered if no Democratic presidential candidate wins a majority of delegates, arguing in favor of a brokered convention.

The Democratic National Convention in July could feature a contested convention, which features additional rounds of voting past the state primaries and caucuses. The extra voting should take place if no candidate wins a majority of delegates, Biden argued during a CNN town hall on Thursday night.

“Say you got to get over 1,900 delegates, that’s the deal,” Biden said, referring to the number a candidate can reach to get the party’s nomination without resorting to a brokered convention.

“So let’s say someone comes with the most delegates and it gets split up and they got a thousand delegates and the rest are split. Does that mean you should go ahead and change the rules? I don’t think so. I guess I’m a Catholic school kid. You play by the rules,” he said.

The Bernie Bots will go berserk and burn the place down

I've been teasing Bernie Bros on my groups saying they're going to steal the nomination from Bernie again, but that they're going to accept it and not have the guts to stand up to the establishment just like they did in 2016, because they don't really believe in their socialist revolution and are just a bunch of establishment tools that will vote for whichever billionaire they're ordered to. I hope that doesn't make them more apt to try to prove me wrong in Milwaukee!

Naw, they're a pretty level-headed bunch. I'm planning on selling gasoline in wine bottles up there myself. For, you know, people whose cars run out...

In all matters, the Democrat Party elite rules with an iron fist.

And their followers goose step to whatever tune they play.

"Biden Defends Superdelegates as He Argues for Brokered Convention"
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Patriots are reminded that the 12th Amendment (12A) electoral vote process doesn’t limit elector choices or vote-counting procedures, to the rules of the corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties.

More specifically, the only limit on the choices that 12A puts on electors is that at least one of the persons that they vote for must not be a resident of the state that they respectively represent.

Excerpted from the 12th Amendment: "The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves [emphasis added]; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice- President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate; […]"

Also, despite hypocritical Democratic mantra that “all votes count,” state winner-take all laws not only violate 12A imo, that amendment showing that the states surrendered their power to make such laws, but neither have the states gotten the constitutionally required permission of Congress to agree to list the candidates of the political parties on their ballots.

Corrections, insights welcome.

Remember in November!

MAGA, now KAGA! (Keep America Great Always!)

Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA will effectively give PDJT a third term in office imo.

So he and Bloomberg can make a deal that would be a Bloomberg-Warren ticket (Obama wants Warren I believe).
