When Trump self-funded his campaign (with loans), I remember it being universally praised on here because it meant he was incorruptible and couldn’t be bought. Why are you outraged when Bloomberg does the same thing?

He started by spending next to nothing. Then he turned on the afterburner and began spending next to next to nothing.

The kind of leverage Trump was harnessing by trolling the press was unprecedented in U.S. presidential politics.

Bloomie, by comparison, is spending, spending, spending, with no leverage. Actually, seemingly with far less than 1:1 leverage. Hence the strong stench of waste.
