Clyburn (D-SC) a hypothetical: Will you support the eventual Democratic nominee no matter what - even if it comes down to former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg? The guy who oversaw the controversial stop-and-frisk program that disproportionately affected young minorities? The guy who said racist and sexist things on tape?
Yes, Clyburn said. He'll support whoever the Democrats pick to take on President Trump, because no matter what any of the Democratic candidates have said, Trump's language and behavior is ten times worse.
[snip]In his past two State of the Union addresses, Trump has cited the historic low black unemployment rate, but most Democrats ( remained seated and stone-faced), refusing to acknowledge the economic positive.

A lot of plantations used trusted slaves as overseers in the cotton fields.
Democrats are hypocrites. We knew that already.
If Democrats had standards, they wouldnt be Democrats.
You’re right.
And if we had a decent and honest media, the Dems/Left would be out of business in no time.
Translation: Yes, he said, because power matters more than anything. The good of the country, and it’s people are irrelevant.
I listen to the all black 910 am WDF radio station at odd times during the week. I am white but listen to and read from a variety of inputs. By the way, they are in the upscale suburb of Farmington Hills but call themselves the Detroit urban voice of the community. Funny.
More than once a call-in show had discussions of the poor quality of all of the Dem candidates and what’s wrong with them. At the conclusion of each listener’s call the woman host said: “So then you are going to vote for Donald Trump?”
Each stammered, cleared their throats or stuttered and then said “No, No, never, ever will vote for Trump!” or a close variation. As if someone asked if are awarding the KKK their estate in their will.
By the way, loyal as they are they now are quitting on Biden and are reluctantly going for Sanders. Not Mike B, Warren or Former Mayor Pete. Just anecdotal from the listeners.
There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.
I am afraid that there is a certain class of race-problem solvers who dont want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.
Poverty Pimps
Pure and Simple
Parasites, all of them
??? I don’t get this opposition due to the fact Trump doesn’t sing sweetly in people’s ears. I take my car into a place to get it serviced. The guy is old school, swears, is grumpy, ect But I know he is honest and won’t cheat me and won’t fix or maintain anything that doesn’t need it, and charges me much better than the dealership. I’m not having him over for lunch with my kids. Not why I hired him.
Clyburn, the black equivalent of “Simon LeGree” with his whip and chains (mental, economic, etc) keeping “them darkies down on the farm picking cotton and eating chitlins”, and voting Democrat, or else.
This man is a total disgrace to Congress, decent black people, and America as a whole. That is why he is a Democrat!
Booker T. Washington KNEW Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, or he was one of the most prescient men of his day. I’ll take “prescient” for $1,000, Alex but he “knew” the Sharpton/Jackson types very well and hated them as race traitors, crooks and scoundrels.
