New de Blasio low: Using City Hall for Chirlane McCray to gain office

Putting an entirely new spin on the concept of “public campaign finance,” Mayor Bill de Blasio is ruthlessly exploiting his official powers to get First Lady Chirlane McCray elected as Brooklyn borough president in 2021— with a pretty obvious eye on moving the family back into Gracie Mansion eight years later.

Most despicably, the failed ThriveNYC project (which has already cost taxpayers around $1 billion) is a central part of the scam.

McCray’s ThriveNYC mental-health and wellness podcast just launched — in partnership with a Brooklyn-based cultural nonprofit that took in $1.2 million in city funding in 2019.

For the first show, she brought in recent Yale grad Dante de Blasio (no longer employed by Bill de Blasio’s presidential campaign) to serve as guest co-host.

It’s “All in the Family,” de Blasio style. Or maybe the Corleones?

As veteran local pol Sal Albanese tweeted, “This is an obscene use of taxpayer $ for blatant political purpose.”

It’s also shameless, since Thrive was plainly intended to showcase McCray’s leadership — but wound up showcasing her inability to manage anything.

By all accounts, the mayor is looking to cash in political chits left and right to install McCray as Brooklyn beep. Hey, someone has to support the family after term limits force him off the public payroll on Jan. 1, 2022.

This cynical abuse is of a piece with the $358,000 security bill footed by taxpayers during Bill’s ridiculous presidential bid — which includes the $490 tab for seven cops to tag along as the mayor watched his beloved Boston Red Sox play the Angels while he was in Los Angeles taping a political podcast shortly before he folded his prez campaign.

And most of the $1.3 million he raised for that farce came from big donors plainly hoping for favors

THE REAL STORY Mrs DeBlobbio loudly declared her lesbianism in a magazine article---she was in a black feminist lesbian group and wrote poetry about being a lesbian. Politicker noted her husband's campaign website doesn't reference her background as an avowed lesbian and a lesbian activist or lesbian poet: It notes her affiliation with the Combahee River Collective, omitting mention of the group’s lesbian roots, referencing it as "a pioneering black feminist collective."

The two met while both worked for the Dinkins campaign. She says she had a nose ring and wore African garb when he spotted her and was completely smitten. She never told him she was a lesbian. And later said after their marriage she was still attracted to women. During the mayoral campaign, she was asked about her lesbian lifestyle----she retorted she "didn't understand the question." The Blobbio's honeymooned in Communist Cuba and picked coffee beans w/ Sandinistas (then America's arch-enemies).

The New York Post ran a cartoon depicting the couple in bed, McCray on the phone telling someone, "I used to be a lesbian, but my husband, Bill de Blasio, won me over," while her husband lay beside her clad in sexy lingerie.

Voters there are the definition of brain dead. I grew up there and escaped around 10 years ago and now I watch the insanity from afar. They elect the most corrupt idiots going, then complain about the job they are doing, then they reelect them. NYC I would say is probably the most corrupt city in the country right now, more so than Chicago.

Back in the 90’s, the fraudulent ‘research studies’ that declared that gayness was genetic, did not include lesbians. Those studies were debunked anyway, but All Leftists still cite them as valid. But again, the studies did not include lesbians.

Probably true, but just like California there is considerable doubt about the relationship between ballots cast and “votes” counted.

Trump has little chance to win the popular vote in November, because the Democrat overvote in those two states is going to be gigantic. He could win a massive electoral landslide and still lose the popular vote, which will amplify Democrat calls for its abolition and allow them to continue to call Trump an illegitimate President. Some kind of Federal oversight of these corrupt state election offices eventually needs to happen.
