Both of my boys achieved Eagle Scout rank in the BSA. Both entered the USMC as PFCs - an initial rank promotion accorded Eagle Scouts upon enlistment.

I was a merit badge counselor.

Both boys, now men, are disgusted with "Scouts BSA," and the continuing feminization of the BSA that you seem to celebrate.
