It is, and always has been, insane to allow China and India to ignore all the environmental requirements that the US and other nations have imposed on themselves.
The way to force China and India to clean up their most abusive practices is tariffs and other trade policies that punish them for being the world’s biggest polluters.
And all that can be done without heading down nonsensical, Green New Deal road.
