On Presidents’ Day, Jeb Bush urges return to civility in politics

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush told a Presidents’ Day audience of investors and money managers that it’s time for a return to civility in the nation’s politics. And the man who was ousted early from the Republican primaries of 2016 gave a decidedly mixed review of the first term of President Donald Trump

As for such "kingly’ duties as setting an example to which younger people can aspire, Bush found the president deficient.

“The duties say if you can work hard and play by the rules you can be just like him … that’s an ‘F,’” Bush said. “That’s an important part of this, to be admired by someone that you look up to. This president doesn’t achieve that.”

Oh.... I must confess. I did not read the other part of the post at all.

I was merely replying to those words, "“...to be admired by someone that you look up to.”

Obviously, the line was intended to describe reciprocity, but it doesn’t - it is just two ways of saying “you for me”. PLEASE don’t tell me that makes sense to you! :^)"

Getting ready for the GREAT DEBATE tonight. I'm pulling out my old popcorn pan from decades ago that used to make the greatest popcorn for a number of Steeler Super Bowl games .......... and a couple of other not so great games.

There are times to make nice, and times to spit on your hands and get busy. My president can do either, and shows a good sense of timing.
