China Cries ‘Discrimination’, Scolds Australia for 'Rejecting Huawei' 5G Network....(Trump Effect)

Australia’s decision to join the U.S. and ban Huawei from any participation in a national 5G network remains a “sore point or thorny issue” between the two countries, the Chinese ambassador alleged Monday, adding “discrimination against a Chinese company” lies at the core of the dispute.

Cheng Jingye dismissed concerns Huawei may pose a threat to Australia’s national security given its known links to the Communist Chinese government, and said Australia’s ban was “politically motivated.”

The telecommunications giant was banned in August 2018 from joining Australia’s 5G rollout due to security concerns. The then Turnbull conservative coalition government chose to follow the U.S. lead and say “no” to Huwai.

The U.S. has since been pressing nationsto deny Huawei access to 5G networks and alleged the company’s equipment could be used by Beijing for spying, which the Chinese firm has repeatedly denied.

In May, U.S President Donald Trump signed an executive order barring U.S. companies from using telecommunications equipment made by companies posing a national security risk, as Breitbart News reported.

The Trump administration also added Huawei to its trade blacklist, citing national security concerns.

Australia should award a Taiwanese company a contract, stipulating it is void if the Communists ever take over, just to demonstrate that they aren’t against Chinese persons, just ChiCom front companies.

China is basically saying that if Australians don’t let them take over their way of life then they are being discriminatory.

And yet Australia buys everything else that China produces. Must be a complete coincidence that Sydney wants to ban the one product class that enables Beijing to spy on everything Australians say and hear on a daily basis.

Pretty much... ‘Huawei’ was China’s hope for just that. We’ll see if Europe rejects it as well. I’ve not checked how they’re handling this.

Maybe Trump should say something like, “One world, two systems,” analogous to the “One country, two systems” line that is peddled about Hong Kong.

This is why China has sought and stolen so much technology from our country and then enlarges it to accomodate their world agenda and ultimately controlling.....as they say.....”All roads Lead to China”...

If Bloomberg or Biden get in you can be sure they will cooperate with China regardless of the threat to our country's Sovereignty.

Well China’s been in an economic war with the US for decades but our adminstrations have turned a blind eye and wilingly deceived to what has been apparent to others....until Trump.

Such hypocrites when you consider how they work with US and other nations companies and Ceo’s once they’re estalished over in China......you give them what they want or they’ll wrap a noose around your neck until you do.....be it via regulations and a host of other tricks they use to get you to end. Threats are ‘normal’ in doing business in China.

Maybe Biden, but probably not Bloomberg. He’s not spending billions of his own money to become somebody else’s minion. He gets maybe $72m a year in revenues from China ($24,000 per terminal multiplied by 3,000 terminals), or less than 1% of Bloomberg LP’s revenues. It’s obviously dwarfed by his expenditures on this election alone. Given Bloomberg’s global warming obsession, I’d expect him to tighten the screws on China for its environmentally-incorrect move towards the construction of numerous new coal-fired power plants. It’s logical enough for China, given that it has vast coal reserves (#3, behind the US and Russia), but probably a sore point for Bloomberg.

There has been no economic war between the US and Red China; our elites created their economy, and they serve as a low-wage factory for American businesses. They also provide a steady stream of students for our higher education cartel; we would be training our own enemies.

The war is between the US population - particularly workers - and their own elites.

Hopefully Britain will follow suit and reverse course to shut the Chicoms completely out of their 5G network. It makes zero sense to believe Huwaei is not a trojan horse for the Chinese intelligence services.

Of course there has been a war....China ‘played’ the humble benevolent poor country in order to frisk the administrations. and they bought it hook line and sinker.

Carter's the one who signed the deal for as many students as China wanted to flood into country....and they all knew they could be called on to spy for China. It was a walk in the front door and and steal out the back....either way they got it! And the Administrations turned their head falsely believing, and being lead to believe, that by building up china they would change and adopt Democracy......China never intended to do so and certainly has shown they have no intentions in the future with Xi ruling now for life.
