The reason healthcare is bankrupting us is because there is no free-market in operation at all except at the very high end.

For the rest of us, the extortion racket has already pocketed the loot and the only question is how little they can give in return.

I actually agree with him to a degree. I think health insurance should be a bit like the speed of light 9The faster you go, it takes exponentially more energy to increase your sped). That is, the older you get, the more expensive it gets, at a dramatic level once you pass the “average life span”, until it’s too expensive to be able to afford it at age 95 unless you are the 1%. So treatment at 95 would not be available unless you want to pay for it out of pocket.

On this he is in total agreement with his Lord High Master Obama.

At least his recent ads lead you to believe that he regards Obama thus.

I do not favor anything like denying care to elderly Americans but we should not allow elderly people to immigrate to the USA. We should restrict immigration to those under 45 and able to work and pay into the system. Most health care expenditures occur in the last six months of one’s life.

He already DOES! For babies in the womb. But he’ll surely advocate it for the elderly, too. After he takes power; if, God forbid, he ever does.

If this guy would lay awake in bed each night thinking up new ways to micromanage how much soda you consume, he’d surely lie awake many more nights trying to think up ways to micromanage your healthcare decisions.

He is talking money.
He has the money.
As with everything in life, no money...no honey.

It’s not just a cost issue— it’s an issue of personal freedom. Suppose the old guy thinks he can live, say, another 8 years productively and is willing to spend his own money to make this happen. Why should a socialist-in- training like Bloomberg have the right to keep him from doing this?

This is crazy. Of course people can live forever, just as long as Hospital Corp of America can bill the government infinitely.

social media is generating a “social score” for everyone. If they don’t like your politics your score is affected.

Bloomberg is not as smart as Hillary, who eventually learned not to say anything meaningful or authentic, although once in a while she’d have a deplorable lapse.

Just heard this morning that he has said farmers don’t need much gray matter to do what they do.

Bloomberg has Biden’s tongue and Hillary’s personality.
He doesn’t learn by example, either. She wasted over a billion dollars trying to get elected.

I suspect this time Hillary’s not going to ignore Bubba’s advice, which would be not to hitch her wagon to any of the decrepit donks in the field this year, when Secretariat is running for reelection.
