I don't know too much about farming myself, but I do know that to be successful it requires cheap, abundant energy and chemical fertilizers derived from petroleum. And who has done the most in the past four years to make petroleum cheap and abundant? Not Moron Bloomberg. In fact, he favors doing just the opposite.

Pretty much all chemical fertilizers these days use natural gas to provide the necessary energy for their synthesis. You need the petroleum stuff to fuel and lube the machinery. (Note...former farm boy, born and raised).
