I let friends hunt on my land.
Last year, I got a ton of meat—wild hog and deer.
This year, zilch.
I saw more deer on my acreage this year than any year before, but my friends just couldn’t find ‘em.

LOL! Some years are ‘good’, some not-so-good. One relative is going out west elk hunting in this fall ... last year he didn’t get anything, so I REALLY hope he gets something this year as elk are very good meat & I know he’ll share.
