CNN’s Jake Tapper highlighted conservative talker Rush Limbaugh’s number of marriages when discussing Limbaugh’s comments about openly gay 2020 presidential candidate former South Bend, IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
Tapper said, “Just days after being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, radio host Rush Limbaugh, who has a decade’s long record of bigotry against blacks, woman and the LGBTQ community, attacked Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg because Buttigieg is gay.”

Rush should sue Tapper for slander. Challenge him to defend his claims that he is a racist, etc. I bet Rush would donate the CNN payout to charity.

Tapper’s accusation against Rush is without serious actual facts. Details when making such a statement are paramount.
Rush was not speaking about his own views, but making a general observation about the body politic. I think Tapper knows this, but was using it as a cudgel against Rush and his listeners, i.e. us.
The number of Rush’s marriages has no purpose but to muddy the waters and divert our attention to the actual truth. Buttigieg is not just any gay man, but one who flaunts his relationship with his ‘husband’ Chasten.
If Chasten is his ‘husband’, then is Pete the wife in the relationship? This is a somewhat serious question. How are we to evaluate Pete when he does not know what his gender is in life?
Something to the effect that “parents are having a difficult time explaining Donald Trump to their children.”
Rush appropriately observed that Pete and his “husband” kissing on stage might be more of an ‘splainin’ problem for parents.
I assume you have been a Rush listener as I have, since the 1990s. All those many years he has worked really hard to keep out any trace of racial bigotry from his thousands of hours of shows, including when liberal trolls as we now call them used to pretend otherwise to make incendiary calls. Rush has never been a racist.
And I'm sure the African American man who preceded James Golden his African American trusted colleague on the show would have noticed any "racism."
Either Tapper is lying or more likely he has heard other lies from other liars and they were repeated so often he now believes them. How stupid of a "newsman." Tapper's overflowing vile hatred of the innocent Rush and the innocent Trump have distorted his view of reality. Typical Leftist Biased Media guy.

Jake, I’m divorced. Mrs Deplorable is my second marriage. Mrs Deplorable is on her second marriage, her husband died in Iraq. Myself, I don’t care if Pete is married or not, it is not for me to judge him on his sex life. Do you know anything about Rush’s marriage history? I don’t, and neither do you.
