Here is the problem:
We somehow had a usurper in the White House for eight years who not only doubled our national debt from the previous 200 years but he was allowed to place student loans- the student loan industry- not just the health care industry- in the hands of the government
We allowed our government to take advantage of our kids
Most kids get out of college wth high tens of thousands
And way into hundreds of thousands for masters and professional degrees
We have a damned hell of a nerve making fun of these kids for wanting a break
Look around. They can’t get married and have families
Why anyone would blame them for this mess and call them freeloaders is

I was brought up to believe that when you put your name on the dotted line, you own it. I am sick of this whining.
If some Rich Liberal wants to payoff the Student Loans of these people, he can write a Check. The same goes for Big College who profit dearly from these Loans.
Leftists act like these poor “children” were forced to borrow the money ala The Godfather, “either your Brains of you Signature will be on that Contract”.
Thousands of young people sacrificed their Lives and Limbs to defend this Country. I’m sure every one of them would have preferred having to pay back a Loan instead.

I am not buying what you are selling. This is a generational problem belonging to the K-12 education system and parents. These debtor children have been raised to believe debt isn’t a problem and the Government has been part of the equation seeing they just happen to be the most glaring example of the largest debtor of them all. The idiot children need to be held to account just as their educators and parents for the poor understanding of economics and finance. I do like the idea of not letting the castles of higher education escape their complicity in the equation.
It could be we are somewhat on the same page, I just don’t think the children should be allowed to escape the reality many of them find themselves in because of bad decisions on how much loan and for what.
