In 2015, reportedly the same year as this recording of Bloomberg, black men committed 36% of murders, and were 52% of murder victims, according to FBI data cited by the National Criminal Justice Reference Service. White men were 30% of murderers and 43% of murder victims. According to FBI statistics from 2015, just under 16% of male murder victims were Latino or Hispanic and less than 10% of offenders were Latino or Hispanic.”

If CNN wants to trash Democrat party candidates, that’s fine with me. Bloomberg is a serious contender and if this story hurts his chances, good.

I think that there can be no doubt that minorities are the main victims of violent crime (when adjusted for their numbers in the population) and that they're the main perpetrators of violent crime (again, when adjusted for population).

Interesting. Are those nation wide stats? If so I wonder what NYC looks like.

What about the people doing the killing?

Let the RATS trash Bloomberg, he’s going to be their nominee.

RE: What about the people doing the killing?

Their reasoning is — if you confiscate guns from EVERYONE, this will also cover and include the people who do the killing.

Debating which demographic group commits the most crimes or is the victim of these crimes does not get us closer to a crushing victory for President Trump. It reminds me of when Antifa was running wild, conservatives were too busy debating over whether Antifa was communist or fascist. The democrats have been trying to destroy us for almost 4 years, so if a few Democrats get their lives wrecked over media lies, I really don’t care.

I agree. When your enemies start fighting among themselves, it’s best just to stand back and enjoy the spectacle.

i"You've got to get the guns out of the hands of the people that are getting killed,"

Is this a correct quote?

It is much easier to get the guns out of the hands of the people getting killed. They don’t resist.

Note that in many FBI statistics, Hispanics are white if perpetrators (only differentiation is black/white), and Hispanic if victims, so one often has to dig deeper when using those statistics.

https://nypost.com/2012/05/22/stop-frisk-facts/

Blacks are 53 percent of stop subjects, though they are 23 percent of the city’s population. Whites are 9 percent of stop subjects, though they are 35 percent of the city’s population. Therefore, conclude Stringer and others, the NYPD targets individuals for stops based on their race rather than on crime patterns and suspicious behavior.

Here is what the anti-cop critics never divulge: Blacks are 66 percent of all violent-crime suspects, according to the victims of and witnesses to those crimes. Blacks commit around 70 percent of all robberies and about 80 percent of all shootings in the city. Add Hispanic shooters, and you account for 98 percent of all shootings in the city.

Whites, by contrast, were only 5 percent of all violent crime suspects in 2011. According to victim and witness reports, they commit barely over 1 percent of all shootings and less than 5 percent of all robberies.

[…]

Brownsville, Brooklyn, is a particular target of the anti-police advocates for its stop rate. Why is there more enforcement activity there? Because that’s where thugs are killing people.

The per-capita shooting rate in Brownsville is 81 times higher than in nearby Bay Ridge.

Thank you. I expected some over weighted data but that is very telling. So MiniMike was factually correct but tone deaf; revealing his dictator side.

Nice to look at, but I would not approach that within 100 feet.

Certain minorities commit crime at a rate thousands of times above that of Japanese. What would she say about that?

If Bloomberg were the win the nomination, all Trump has to do is show a TV ad with a cop throwing a black man against a wall, and play (over and over) Bloomberg saying, "throw them up against the walls."

Not to defend Bloomberg, but that would be an UNFAIR ad.

If the black man was guilty and violent, the cop has every right to do what he did.

Also, Bloomberg might be many things we don’t like, but HE IS NOT A RACIST. I get tired of hearing that word thrown about even when the description does not fit. It’s like the Boy Crying Wolf.
