The Bernie phenomenon is the result of decades of conditioning schoolchildren to believe that government will solve all their problems and take care of them, so they don't have to think so much. Just sit there complacently and accept what is handed to you, spiced up with the mantra Free-Free-Free. It's Animal Farm writ large, and it scares the HECK out of me.
