It took Trump awhile to realize that he was being sabotaged by those within his administration just as much as the Democrats. In fact the Democrats were partnered with certain anti Trump factions of Republicans - especially neocons and Bushites.

gotta get rid of the O-6’s as well, the flag officers groomed the O-6’s for flag rank.

I guess a poor excuse for a Marine, John Kelly never heard of chain of command, Commander In Chief, or the UCMJ. He’s just a disgruntled employee who misses the limelight. Good job in firing the mutt Mr. President.

Illegals serve the establishment by cowing the native population into compliance by creating fear over losing their jobs while lowering wages.

No American general has won a war since WW2 and 80% of that victory belongs to the Russians.

If you ask me Trump would do very well to fire every current Fed or Officer and replace them with FReepers. We’ve been prescribed. Most of us have been officers and NCOs.

The Atlantic.

Don’t believe a word of it.

Get a different source.

How about all the people at Drew University where Kelly gave the talk that this story is reporting on? Are you saying that was made up too? Or are you saying you don't think that Kelly would never, ever speak like this about Trump?

Kelly was said at the time to be a self-serving perfume princess.

Interesting. The President might also start by thinning the herd of 90% of the Academy types until the Academy’s themselves can be straightened out.

Legal immigration does the exact same thing. Even more so. Especially to the young college educated class trying to get started in a market flooded with H-1B visa scabs.

Kelly:

Vindman is blameless and was simply followed the training he’d received as a soldier....and Trump’s decision to condition military aid to Ukraine on an investigation into his political rival Joe Biden upended long-standing U.S. policy.

The Constitution:

[The president] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States…

I guess Ike was right about the military-industrial complex, at least when they act like they ARE the government and usurp the prerogative of the Executive.

Trump gets military erections.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s good to consider the military as special.

But Trumps problem is that he was stuck with a Obama holdovers who were groomed during a time that promoted a certain kind of leader.

You want your Chief of Staff to be able to voice an opinion. But they also need to forward the Presidents agenda.

He was right to quit. His speaking about it is not cool, but that’s America today.

Agreed. Jared is the prime example of Trump’s mistaken staffing. And Jared was all over the staffing from the start. He initially “co-led” the transition staffing effort with Christie, then booted Christie with Pence nominally replacing him, but it was Kushner all along.

And Kushner is something of a puppet to the likes of his criminal father and “mentor” Rupert Murdoch. Reportedly he speaks to them both daily.

Here’s a little more background on some of the corruption that Kushner undoubtedly made Trump vulnerable on (”Daddy, you can’t let them go after Jared!”):

https://redrevolution.co.uk/2019/03/29/the-links-between-jared-kushner-likud-rupert-murdoch-and-genie-energys-claims-on-the-golan-heights-oil/

Kushner is also the one who brought in Sessions—and we know how that went. Ivanka’s pal Chelsea reportedly convinced Ivanka to get Daddy to lay of prosecution of Hillary during this transition period as well. Remember how Trump invited Bill and Hill to his inaugural luncheon and toasted them both?

Trump’s instincts are fantastically good—except when it comes to his little princess and his princess’s creepy prince.

As far back as the 2008 presidential campaign, then-candidate Barack Obama let slip a vision for his own personal civilian army. Not to protect you and me from enemies of this country, which is his number one constitutional responsibility. No, what he seems to have had in mind — demonstrated again just in the last few days — is a special force to push back against what he perceives as his ...

Trump’s decision to condition military aid to Ukraine on an investigation into his political rival Joe Biden upended long-standing U.S. policy.

Fantasize much?

This never happened. As the transcript showed, it was only a few words about well-known corruption out of thousands of words about other things.

The media continues to completely distort the phone call.

They truly act like the words Adam Schitt made up were the actual words.

Immigration like the one that brought me here with my parents used to be based on the fact local American labor was not available for that skill. My parents had to prove they had the skill set and also a job lined up to get a green card.

But with that said we no longer live in that world - the need for immigration or not should be based on economic factors to the point that we can say for a decade we don’t need any immigration or we just need a small amount based on skills, etc.
