No NH is not an open primary. Republicans can only vote for Republicans. Same with Dems.
However, Independents can vote in either primary. They have to ask for their preference and then CHANGE back to an Independent after they vote.

That’s odd... because at the rally, I though Trump was suggesting it was an open primary - saying it’s OK if people want to go vote for the weakest Democrat..

Maybe he was talking to the independents in the crowd?
