Sanders said "Obviously" he's not a communist, but his aim is to completely take over ("transforming") the country.

And I pay extra attention to those of his campaign aids and supporters wrt Gulags and Re-education camps.

Then he’s just Obama 2.0 and is dead in the water. We don’t elect President’s to “transform the country” but to only honor the position as declared in the Constitution.

All we have to say now is, “he’s just like Obama but worse”. He’ll capture the socialist/communist types but I see no reason why blacks or Latino’s would vote for him.

The D’s are finished until they can change course.

transforming this country
Transforming a building with dynamite is quite simple.

“Transforming this country” in a positive way is altogether a different matter, just as building a building is a different matter from blowing it to smithereens.

As a socialist, Bernie Sanders must be counted among the “Some writers,” who fit a founding era description by Thomas Paine:

SOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins.
Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness;

the former promotes our happiness POSITIVELY by uniting our affections, the latter NEGATIVELY by restraining our vices.

The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions.

The first is a patron, the last a punisher.

Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one . . .
For were the impulses of conscience clear, uniform and irresistibly obeyed, man would need no other lawgiver; but that not being the case, he finds it necessary to surrender up a part of his property to furnish means for the protection of the rest . . . — Thomas Paine, Common Sense (1776)
“Socialism” would more honestly be described as governmentism - the idea that government is necessary extrapolated on the “if one’s good, two’s better” principle carried to the extreme where society and government are co-extensive, and freedom is not even a concept.

Quite simply, socialists are power mad. Labeling socialism “democratic” is dishonest if it is not deeply naive.

Socialists are intemperate, in that they are cynical about society and therefore naive about government. Conservatives recognize the possibility of progress, but also the greater possibility of regress. Conservatives are therefore skeptical, and it is wrong to assume that cynicism is just “extreme skepticism.” Skepticism reflects uncertainty - and cynicism reflects negative certainty.

Bernie Sanders NH Victory Speech: "Our Campaign Is Not Just About Beating Trump, It Is About Transforming This Country"

NO thanks Bernardo.

We've had one transformation already. That was the 8 years under Obunga that ran America into the ground.

If Bernie is lucky he could pull 20 to 25% of the vote.

Trump will come away with 75 to 80%.

***it is about transforming this country,” Sanders said.***

No different than what the radical Weather Underground wanted to do back in the 1970s. Execute 15,000,000 people who will not fall in line and be “reformed” to communism.

“Our campaign is not just about beating Trump, it is about transforming this country,” Sanders said.

An early version of Sanders, one Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, wanted to transform Russia...and when he got into power, he did just that. Part of the transformation was to seize property from the wealthy and the upper-middle class, including my paternal grandfather’s father. He had worked for over 40 years, doing back-breaking work, and built up a business employing 50 people (meaning that his business supported 50 families, because women didn’t work outside of the home). With some of the profits from that business, he built 14 houses (literally - he and his sons built them by themselves), thus having provided housing for 14 families. Then came Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, and ALL of it was seized, except for his home, in the mid-1920s. Shortly before that, my grandfather left for America to join an older brother - and no one else got out until the mid-70s (one of my father’s cousins and his wife), and the rest were stuck there until the ‘90s.

Fast forward to 1936. Now my great grandfather was 73 and sick with esophageal cancer. Unable to earn a living, and having no income from his investments that had been stolen a decade earlier, he rented out 3/4 of his home to 3 families to put food on the table for he and his wife (it was 1930s Ukraine - with a huge, engineered famine - you HAD to have a bunch of money to eat decently). Well, someone complained about the “criminal capitalist,” and one day he was dragged off to an NKVD prison and beaten mercilessly over the course of several weeks. He was released, but a few months later was taken again for no apparent reason and beaten so badly that the NKVD told his family to come and get him - they didn’t want to dispose of the body. He died shortly thereafter - which is to say, Communism murdered my great grandfather. My grandfather knew that his father had died, but no one could explain the truth in a letter. He found out in 1969, when he went to the USSR to visit what was left of his family. I, myself, didn’t know this until a couple of years ago - but now I understand why my very tough grandfather cried like a baby when he told my father about the trip after he returned.

Such is what Bernie and his synchophants will bring to this country. We don’t know who his Trotsky and Stalin are, but assuredly they exist. Once they get power, they will NEVER let it go, not until it is pried away from them by force.

A personal note: it may well be that the same thing that happened to my great grandfather 100 years ago (he was born 98 years before me) and his family will happen here to me and my family - but this time it will NOT be for free, that I promise.

PHUCK Bernie, PHUCK his supporters, PHUCK his ass-kissers in the media. They will destroy this country and murder millions if they ever get power. That’s what History says, and we in the US are not immune to its laws or to human nature.

Well, darn. I would have thought obozo was smart enough to trademark that statement about transforming the country. Guess he wasn’t as smart as he told us he was!
