I'm thinking the Dems know they are going to lose big to Trump in November no matter what so they are in "sacrificial lamb" mode. So they might be thinking they might as well get the "homo dude" out of the way so that they can start fresh in 2024.

But they are in a real pickle because Buttigieg will likely get blown out in SC and just about every other red Southern state. My money is still on Bernie getting the nod. Especially if he plays the long game and settles for #2 in most states. He may well end up with the most delegates by convention time.

Remember how he hung tough against Hillary in 2016 almost to the very end?
