We knew that dems had a plan to flip the senate blue, by getting shaky GOP senators to vote for no witnesses etc. so that they could make "coverup" campaign ads. I wonder if "devout" Romney knows what depth of evil he is playing with.

Mormons are Mormons. There are no Dem or Republican Mormons for the most part though some like are more conservative. Romney and Reid are two peas in a pod ideologically....they are Mormopublicrats who want the country to dissolve into a heap with the Mormons coming out on top. They are playing their own games and biding their time.
