Just multiply the Chinese numbers by ten so that you’ll be more likely to be in the ballpark. That’s what I do, so it’s “actually” about 6350 dead.
I’m with you Tol, but even that may be somewhat low. I estimate 300 people die each day due to natural causes in Wuhan, and they have said that one shift was enough for the crematoriums, during normal circumstances.
But now they’re 24/7 (for at least the past 2 weeks). That means 600 to 900 more dead per day, so the 20,000 number that was floating around earlier in the week starts to make sense.
It it not good there...and we’re not even close to getting it all.
