Trump isn't doing himself any favors here.

Says every GOPe type, whenever Trump is Trump.

Tut-tut, and "well I never."

THANK HEAVENS he hasn't ever listened – and won't ever listen – to you.

I was a Cruz supporter...until Trump came down the escalator and spoke about stopping the illegal alien invasion.

At that moment, I knew he was Reagan v2...and I’ve been a 110% supporter since!!!

I know, saying “bullshit” in the White House is way more offensive than Clinton getting a blow job by Monica under the presidential desk while talking to a foreign leader or Kennedy running naked down the halls coming down from one of his drugged highs.

It’s all in Howie Carr’s book - Kennedy Babylon
Mentions Kennedy’s Muggeseggele penis too

will let Freepers have fun looking up that Schwabisch word - it was voted favorite Schwabisch word a few years back lol

Now watch all the networks in unison say that the speech was “divisive”.

The Rat @ssholes in the Fake News also said Brett Kavanaugh’s celebratory swearing in was “divisive” and “partisan.” F*** THEM!! Kavanaugh’s swearing in was a PARTY and it should have been, after what the Rat scum put him through.

I am absolutely happy with today’s celebratory event, I would have LOVED to have been in the room.

If I’d been there, when POTUS recognized defense attorney Patrick Philbin, I would have started up a loud group chant, “HERCULES! HERCULES! HERCULES!”

I can’t fault Rush for promoting Cruz. I was for Cruz at first.
We knew that Cruz was conservative through and through and brilliant.

I liked Trump. I loved his boldness. I just didn’t know if a NYC businessman had the heart of a conservative.

Of course, i voted for him in the end, and have never been so proud of a vote since Reagan. The country needed a conservative CEO, and we got it.

I had a similar track. I was concerned about Trump's morality. He seemed amoral to me, doing whatever it took to achieve his goals. He espoused conservative positions, but did he really believe them?

Obviously he's been more conservative than any Republican since Reagan.

I will say that when Trump was elected, I knew the political establishment would change. I knew political correctness would not continue. His election reflected the fact Americans were fed up with the status quo.

I think you make a fair point.

For my husband and myself, we came from two different family types. His parents never argued in front of the children. In my family, the arguing was constant, but often there was no agreement, just caving in to the more powerful.

We decided that it might be worthwhile to let our kids see our arguments, but also see how the issues were resolved, too. We both apologized when it was our turn to say “I’m sorry.” Our kids learned that you can have disagreements and even when tempers flare up, there are ways to tone things down.

Confrontation doesn’t need to divide people forever. The Democrats keep wanting Trump to apologize, but I would like for Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff to apologize. I know that won’t happen. I like that Trump thanked the people who stood by him and fought for him. He doesn’t need to be chastened. That happens every day by the media.

I would love to see some Democrats decide it’s time to work for the American people again, and if they won’t, vote in people who will.

There is a small crowd of usual suspects on FR who never pass up an opportunity who toss out a negative comment about what Trump is doing or failing to do, regardless of what accomplishments are the news of the day. As a member of this forum for 22 years, you should not join them. Unfortunately your comments today make you eligible for their circle.

Nunes has been wonderful and I’m so glad Trump gave him a lot of attention and praise! The standing O was terrific! God bless Devin Nunes!

Remember Rush was strongly in the corner of Ted Cruz before he finally came around

I was not immediately on the Trump Train either. I was worried that he couldn’t beat Kankles but I voted for him anyway. I KNEW that Cruz would NEVER beat Kankles; I thought Cruz was good on policies, but in debates and in public venues, he consistently came off as snarky, sanctimonious, and very unlikable.

Now I can honestly say I LOVE this president the way I loved Ronald Reagan!! Sure, he’s a businessman from Queens, he’s a little coarse at time. Who cares!! I agree with all of his policies and I love and admire his courage.

He is not just a fighter, he’s a gladiator and street brawler, and he is the most courageous POTUS I’ve ever seen. He’s also teaching the spineless ball-less GOP how to find their courage, how to fight back and win.

As a native New Yorker, I wonder if he is hurt by his home town’s rejection. He did a lot for the New York skyline.
