RNC chairwoman splits with uncle Mitt Romney: GOP stands ‘with President Trump’
By Tal Axelrod - 02/05/20 03:03 PM EST
Ronna McDaniel, the chair of the Republican National Committee and Sen. Mitt Romneys niece, split with her uncle Wednesday after he announced he would vote to convict President Trump on one article of impeachment.
This is not the first time I have disagreed with Mitt, and I imagine it will not be the last. The bottom line is President Trump did nothing wrong, and the Republican Party is more united than ever behind him, she tweeted.
I, along with the @GOP, stand with President Trump.

Thank you. She sounds pretty reasonable. And she is smart. We all have at least one whacko relative, I guess. I feel sorry for her, almost as sorry as for Kellyanne Conway. Yikers.
