I don't think Pelosi did technically "allow" it to be entered, it was Steny Hoyer who called for it to be entered and there were no objections amongst the relatively few members left on the floor.

Pelosi "dissolved" both Houses, called the House to order, then walked out.

There is no mention of "dissolve" in the Congressional Glossary of terms. https://www.congress.gov/help/legislative-glossary#d

I searched Congressional Record archives for “dissolved” - it seemed to be commonly used when ending joint “sessions” or joint “meetings” of House and Senate.

Congressional meetings get adjourned, not dissolved.

In parliamentary and some semi-presidential systems, a dissolution of parliament is the dispersal of a legislature at the call of an election. Parliaments get “dissolved.”

She’s been in Congress long enough to know that. Was that more senility showing through?
