Wrong, I’m much more vindictive. I’d like to hear her say:

Effective immediately I am resigning as congress critter. I have stage 27 brain cancer.

My usually very quiet and oh so proper wife opined this evening that it would be funny if she dropped dead of a heart attack right there in the speaker’s chair. Frankly, I was a little surprised but I liked the image.

That may be soon--the impeachment debacle after three years of House persecution will claim some Democrat victims, beginning with her, Schiff, and Nadler. Democrats were left out of signing USMCA, which I think is just the beginning. Now Pelosi has openly disrespected her office and the House by ripping up Trump's speech. And she allowed or orchestrated open protest in the chamber against President Trump. I suspect Democrats may soon wake up to the shame and disadvantage all this brings upon the House and the party. As they face being turned out in November, since all members are up for reelection, they may act. Else stand and fall together.

This, of course, requires that Republicans run credible candidates against each Democrat. After their failure in 2018, I'm not sure at a House-level, that they will.
