Trump pointed out the huge success of his first 3 years and especially the last years. Because Pelosi has been part of the “resist Trump” movement, his speech pointed out her utter failure. She also knows that he will be acquitted tomorrow of he fake impeachment charges.

The STOTU speech was an in her face humiliation with her on live TV. She was beyond anger and the shame of defeat. Tearing up the speech was the only symbolic thing she could do with out crying on TV or screaming.
