In 1979, my Dad went to a lecture about how sunspot cycles were going to make temps much cooler around 2020. Cooler summers with mild rainy winters.
I used to have the tape of the lecture. Would listen to it on occasion in memory that day with my Dad.
Iben Browning I think.
Still remember when it went to global warming.
This is what we were taught in science class back in the 70s
Interesting, here in middle TN right now we’ve are having a mild rainy winter. It got to 70 today and rain in coming in about 4 hours and rain all day and tomorrow. Temps will stay over 60 until Thursday when it will drop to 52 day and 34 night again.
Very mild.
Last summer was very cool expect for ONE brief heat period in July of all months and not August.
