Friedan was a communist, not a Femi (Nazi). Worked for communist labor unions before she got into the feminist movement, but still supported various communist organization fronts.
Re long sheets of ice moving towards New York. Guess she never heard of nuclear weapons that could melt much of the front of a threatening glacier.

Interesting, here in middle TN right now we’ve are having a mild rainy winter. It got to 70 today and rain in coming in about 4 hours and rain all day and tomorrow. Temps will stay over 60 until Thursday when it will drop to 52 day and 34 night again.
Very mild.
Last summer was very cool expect for ONE brief heat period in July of all months and not August.
