I remember when I first heard him in 1989 on an obscure radio station playing his homeless update and had to bite my tongue for LOL because I was at work.
The first time someone asked me whether I listened to *Rush Limbaugh*, I actually asked what a *Rush Limbaugh* was.
So, I watched his show. This was in the early 1990s and he came on at 2 am.
I lived in a part of San Diego County that didn’t get good reception so I sent my long ago beau up to the roof to install one of those whirly gig antennas.
I remember his snark after he was done: “All that for *one* guy”.
