Researchers at Cardiff University that were in the midst of analyzing blood from a bank accidentally stumbled into an “entirely new type of T-cell” according to The Daily Wire.
Scientists In Britain May Have Just “Accidentally” Found A Cure For Cancer.

The new cell carries a “never before seen” type of receptor that acts like a grappling hook, latching on to most human cancers. The therapy has already worked on lung, skin, blood, colon, breast, bone, prostate, ovarian, kidney and cervical cancer cells.
“This new type of T-cell therapy has enormous potential to overcome current limitations of CAR-T, which has been struggling to identify suitable and safe targets for more than a few cancer types,” said Professor Oliver Ottmann, Cardiff University’s Head of Haematology. Trials on terminally ill patients could start as soon as November.

I see that. For some reason I thought it was Cardiff CA. I wonder if the FDA would allow it to be used here! /cynic

I’m leaning for now toward the cure would be so well received commercially that it would become priceless. Who has the cure for cancer? This company has it and the patent and you are going to pay for it for the rest of your life...maybe agree to monthly payments for the rest of your life (which you would not have otherwise). Other than that, a lot of people are going to become incredibly rich and powerful and those people tend to not be the empathetic type

I assume the research will essentially be open source for peer review but no actual product would be.
