Luckily I lived near Sioux City which is a bastion of conservatism compared to Iowa City, Cedar Rapids and the Quad City area.

The quad city area has been that way for over 5 decades.

My wife has 50+ first cousins (total on both sides, and there is one female cousin who is a liberal retired teacher. She was a conservative until she married and moved there. She is the only liberal in that family.

Many are beyond liberal, they are full blooded progressives.

This poll is exactly why the DNC is now promoting Bloomberg to a podium as the acceptable “moderate” to replace Biden when he implodes as a way of stopping Sanders and the other nutjob Warren. I don’t get your point - what does de-listing marijuana in the federal register have to states rights? Such an announcement by Bernie would just make marijuana possession and growing no longer a federal crime.
