Get her on twitter.
How’d that happen?
So I watched Rona McDaniels (who is not using “Romney” in her name of late) get interviewed on Face the Nation.
She did a great job of defending President Trump, a fine job as is her GOP chair duties.
At one point she was asked about her Uncle-yes the interviewer said UNCLE-and McDaniels handled this by launching into a compliment tirade about President Trump.
I paraphrase below:
Interviewer:”Do you think it was a bad move for your Uncle t vote for more witnesses?”
McDaniels: “There was no need for more witnesses. The Democrats had plenty of witnesses in the House hearings.” .....on and n about The Democrats.
Interviewer: “Okay, we understand you don’t want to discuss your Uncle”-—she really said that! McDaniels did not protest.
Now understand the interviewer did not ask McDaniels about the error of Collins’ and the Alaskan woman’s move. I suspect that McDaniels would have handled questions about each the same way....change the subject and talk with zeal about President Trump.
So I’m not saying that her refusal to chastise her Uncle means she is showing favoritism. It is a very good way of handling this sort of thing, I agree. Also, note the interviewer would likely not have put a Dem. Chair under questioning about errant relatives.
Just remember, almost every person on this board, including me, admits voting and promoting for Romney, McCain, even Dubya. And now you all, including me, admit we did it because it was our only choice.
When this McDaniels position presents us with troubles in the future we will be repeating our folly for wanting so bad to believe this guy is on our side.
I predict, since everybody’s making predictions.
Also, have no horse in the Super Bowl parade but rooting for Kansas because they’ve turned San Francisco into a dump.
