The Turtle was *beaming* ear to ear! Hope that bodes well for President Trump.
Praying so.
I have a hard time trusting long time swamp creatures.

too stupid to realize they are putting presidents they might one day elect into the same situation as they are PDJT,
Presidents, and then a few weeks later, Vice Presidents.

That would be piling on, he already has egg on his face and has lost this and perhaps the house.
As contentious as responses began to get even late Wednesday, I think that ship has sailed.
Further, we have the nightly news unanimously praising the House Managers and panning the White House Lawyers in a completely Orwellian description of what happened.
The broadcast and most of the cable news media has gone full-in open support of the Democrats.

Dems count their votes very closely. They ALLOW people like Manchin to vote with Republicans when it does not tip the final vote to the Rs. Dems understand this strategy. They pretend to be bipartisan. They never publicly attack someone like Manchin on this. So far he has won re-election and votes for Pelosi for Speaker.
To: Freee-dame
Oh yes, they do. GOP does this as well.
It doesn’t always work though when you have people like John McCain, Traitor (H)ell, in your party.

I dont think that Manchin has integrity. Has he ever voted with the Rs on an important issue when his vote made the difference? Dems ALLOW him to vote with Rs when it doesnt matter in the final count. It is a well-thought our campaign strategy.

How many questions has Cruz had?
According to him, he’s been writing questions for other Senators as well, so hard to count.

Would you vote for her [Collins] after this?
Who is the other choice?

what the media and dems miss..is that no one is watching this shit.....NO ONE CARES ...
The problem is how many people aren’t watching this stuff, but are still watching the news summaries and listening - even off-hand - to the commentaries.

Yes, but last night Lard@ss woke up long enough to run to the podium for the very last question.
He beat Schitt to the podium and Schitt (closest to the podium) tried to stop him. LOLOLOLOL!!!

From my reading I get that Roberts can not break a tie. Senate rules say a tie is a down vote unless the VP votes.
The problem with that assessment, is that due to precedent, that’s uncertain. The presiding judge in the Johnson impeachment broke ties three times, so now that is on the table. I suspect that Roberts will refrain, but if he wanted to, he could decide that he can or can’t and be difficult to conclusively argue with.

No. What should be done is to elect more Republican Senators from other states so that votes don’t turn on her decisions.

its the third or fourth story in on the network news at night...every Dem candidate says they get zero questions on impeachment....they thought they were gonna get the media to get this huge wave of the nations attention like Nixon and Clinton did...and it just never happened. the polls never moved..thats why they wanted Bolton so bad...put on a spectacle. As for polls...its like 10th in every poll about whats important to voters...this was a huge flop and will be ancient history come November..

I fully expected Collins and stupid Romney would be Yes votes. Collins voted to acquit The Rapist.
She never fails to embarass Maine Republicans.
