Starr is a gloved fist at this point. He’s doing exactly what he is supposed to do. The fire will come from others.
Starr is putting down the history in front of them and the importance of the history to follow. He’s putting a grown up face on this in comparison to Schiff & Nadler and their clown show that includes a guy who can’t speak without looking like he’s trying to wave a commercial jet in to its parking space.
He’s closing the walls in one everyone. He’s also offsetting the silliness of the shrill and comical little press conferences Schumer & Co. keep having.
He’s being bookish but that I exactly what I needed out of the gate today.
His points on Pelosi are exactly what I have been saying for a long time. She didn’t have the power to do what she did and she knew it.
Sadly we are in a TV world where bullet points rule. He needs more bullets.
Righteous Indignation. That this Country is being FORCED to endure this charade because a group of miscreants are unhappy that the U.S. Constitution protects and defends the will of the people.

Agreed, but this would be far more compelling if read by (for example) Mark Levin. Now *that* would be something! And a little brevity here wouldn't hurt.
If Ken Starr goes on like this for another hour, I'm gonna be really ticked. I canceled appointments, and rearranged my entire week just so I could watch this today (I can't tomorrow). I really wanted to hear more red meat from Cipollone, Purpura and Sekulow today. Hopefully they will be up next.
He IS making GREAT points but his voice does not have the passion to make people pay attention every once in a while that passion comes through and I perk up!!!

KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE.
The audience is two-fold..the Senators who in all likelihood don’t give a hoot about the historical blah, blah, blah he’s blathering on about, and the American people who by and large have the attention span of a highly caffeinated gnat.
Many of the Senators care about one thing at this point..the claims made in the NYT article. Address it. Knock it down.
Next, get back to defending THE CASE on it’s merits - or lack of. NO-ONE CARES about the history lesson - regardless of whether they should or not..
For the love of God..is this the best our side has? The lawyers on Saturday KILLED IT and did exactly what they should have. And we lead off what’s “really” day one of the defense (at least in terms of people paying attention) with this professorial dissertation that is putting most everyone to sleep?
