This security crap steams me! I hope President Trump will do something about it! These bastards get rich in office and can afford their own security! Same with monetary perks too!

You said it! These post-White House oligarchs need to be means-tested. Too much income, no Secret Service.

Of course, Hillabitch assumes she’s going to get SS protection when she’s elected later this year.

The Former Presidents Act (known also as FPA; 3 U.S.C. § 102) is a 1958 U.S. is a federal law that provides its lifetime benefits to former presidents of the United States who have not been removed from office. In 1997, it was reduced to 10 years for presidents taking office after 1997. Congress and Obama just put it totally back in 2012.

It was done as part of their pension program. But if you want to complain about something, retiring presidents are paid, as of 2018, and besides lifetime security and office space, over $207K a year just for being a former president and doing nothing if they choose. Great work if you can find it.

The security team is just waiting for the go-code to take them into custody and bring 'em back.
(I hope)
