In this day and age I would hope a hospital lab could take a picture of the isolated virus, or photos of blood work etc. and send it to the CDC immediately electronically to expedite things. -Tom
I don’t think it’s that easy to get a photo of an isolated virus . And it’s probably also likely that blood work doesn’t have a visual tell to it that is specific to this virus.
My guess is the test is chemical and responds to matching a dna segment.
But I like the way you think. Would be nice if we could get there.
