Only if 0 is a surprising number to you. If this drags on to include new witnesses, the surprising number will be the number of republicans siding with the democrats. In any event, witnesses or not, Romney and at least one of the sisters will vote to convict just to get media adoration.

I believe that some senators have NEVER heard some of this stuff, i.e., the truth. Maybe the GOP presentations are giving information they’ve never heard before, and they are wondering why the hell they didn’t know this before. Eyes could be opened.

There was a lot of happy talk about many Democrats voting no in the House vote. Then in the end only 2 did. The guy from Minnesota and the guy from NJ who switched parties. I’d expect the same in the Senate. Maybe Manchin will vote present or whatever but that will be it. No mass defections.
