Amen...Greatest President ever...
Portland fake news can’t help themselves, they are evil to the core. A quick TV news blurb about Trump attending the “controversial” Pro Life March
We were never expected to not vote Republican. We were expected then as now to shut up and vote for the lesser of two evils. For a while, you could pacify us by giving us a Sarah Palin or a Mike Pence, someone with symbolic value, but no power to change anything, but that is changed now. Enough of us are committed to another way. If you want to get us to vote for your lesser of two evils in the general election, you gonna hafta give us a reason.
Here on our wonderful forum, people, good-hearted people I think, continue to say that we are trying to "maintain our conservative purity", or we want to "teach the republican party a lesson", etc. Please understand, that no matter how important it feels to express these emotions, it is NOT persuasive and it will have NO impact. Furthermore, you must understand when you say, "The time to do this is in the primaries, not in the general election," you are NOT being persuasive. Perhaps your friends need to hear you say this so together you can scorn all those disgusting deplorables who refuse to vote for a candidate unless he meets their "conservative purity test".
Well, bless your heart, you just go ahead with that if you need to.
God willing we will soon be in a position to put an end to this horror with the addition of the next supreme court justice.
The question then will be what should the position be for the supreme court. Reverse Row v Wade and leave it up to the states to decide or come to another decision.
I am of the thought that the Bill or Rights protects all human life. With modern science proving through DNA a fetus is a distinct human being at the moment of conception. And left alone will be fully functional in most cases. In my opinion the intellectually honest answer would afford full protection to the baby as well as the mother.
One caveat to this constitutional protection is At 28 weeks the baby is now viable outside the womb and with modern medicine can be safely birthed. And so the right to life afforded the baby would no longer require the mother to maintain the baby after 28 weeks since the baby could be removed and nurtured outside the womb.
