Pathetic. I caught a bit on Fox Business today when Pencil-Neck was showing photos of Reagan and GHWB on the phone, talking with Thatcher and other world leaders.

For blatant political reasons, he cited Reagan's principles of defending the Shining City on a Hill from the Evil Empire, implying that's how a POTUS should act (by cooperating and communicating with our valuable allies).

It was too much to stomach so I turned it off, presumably before Schiff-head went on to contrast those great leaders with evil Donald Trump misusing the phone on the historic Resolute desk to "extort" the Ukrainians.

Question: why didn't Schiff-head also show a photo of Slick Willy on the phone with Netanyahu, while getting serviced by Ms. Lewinsky under the desk?

Schumer knew going in that Trump would be acquitted. Therefore, nothing he does is intended to influence a pre-determined outcome.

Everything he has done has been - as always - geared toward fund raising. For the meaningless price of annoying a few senators who were never going to vote the way he wanted them to, he expects to raise millions.
