Flashback: The Hill 04/09/16

“Conservative radio host Mark Levin says he will not vote for Donald Trump in the general election because of Trump’s connection to controversial strategist Roger Stone.

“I’m not voting for Donald Trump. Period. … These bully, dirty tricks, Nixonian tactics, they’re only going to backfire. So, count me as never Trump,” Levin said Friday.”

The Trump surrogates got their man nominated, but what they need to do is help straighten him out and convince him to advance conservative principles and liberty.

‘If only the #NeverTrumpers, if only Jonah Goldberg and Bill Kristol and Glenn Beck and this one and that one, if only they’d get behind Trump, then we’d be winning! Then we’d win big time! Oh yes!’ No we wouldn’t,” said Mr. Levin, Mediaite reported Tuesday. “As popular as many of those men and women are, they’re not going to sway anybody one way or another. This is a presidential election. People make up their own minds. […] You’re going to vote your conscience. That’s a statement of fact. […] Maybe Trump will win. Maybe Hillary will be stopped — but we nominated the wrong person.”

But that’s when Cruz was still running and people believed the lies that Trump was the same as Hillary Clinton. A couple days after Trump came down the escalator, I said I was changing from Cruz to Trump, people here told me, “Then you are a liberal!” The wisest people admit when they are wrong and Mark admitted he was wrong. Matt Gaetz? Still whining I guess.
