"No credible scientific body has claimed climate change threatens the collapse of civilization much less the extinction of the human species," said Michael D. Shellenberger before the House Committee On Science, Space, and Technology.

Notice his statement: no "extinction" event. Unlike what would happen if a largish asteroid would hit the earth. That's a telling distinction to what some alarmists claim.

What is more telling to me is that none of the climate models being used to predict the future are proved to be accurate. For example, when was the last time the models predicted current events base on data from between 50 to 150 years ago?

Agenda much?
