Yoko didn't break up the Beatles. She did not take John anywhere he didn't want to go. He was fed up with being a Beatle, but didn't have the courage to leave. Yoko was merely the vessel that allowed him to leave, the wedge that pried him apart from the others. She even gave him the convenience of being able to brand the others racists when they objected to the relationship.

I do believe that Harry and Megan represent the same dynamic. Harry wanted out and Megan was the vessel that allowed him to leave. And as the article points out, Megan, like Yoko, gives him the ability to brand anyone who objects a racist.

That said, I do think it's perfectly rational that someone does not want to go into the "family business." Everyone should be able to determine the kind of life they want to lead. Why should the course of one's life be determined due to an accident of birth? As long as he doesn't take any public funds, he should be free to do what we wants.

I think the article is right in that MM can leverage the term racism. YO never did that that I am aware of.

So MM makes Yoko look good.
